Is localadlink a scam?

We know some good people who are using and promoting the LocalAdLink service, but they are far from Internet marketing experts.

We have watched their videos and read about Local Ad Link on their website. From what we have seen it looks like sizzle without a lot of substance from the perspective of being a good advertising platform for your business. It seems like what they are doing is trying to sell people on joining their network for about $200-$300 a month with the promise of potential results and commissions from signing other people up underneath you; it is a multi-level network marketing company, not much more.

The geo-targeting technology is not as unique as they claim it is, and actually not all that reliable in the way they are trying to utilize it. For instance; if you are on a VPN or on a big company network it becomes difficult to use as a search engine. You are better off using Google Local or Google Maps.

We have heard from one business that it is being touted as a great link building website. It does seem to offer a legitimate link to your site, but it is not likely to be of much value in link building, because it is not a highly ranked site, and their are much better ways to spend hundreds of dollars a month for links and many other types of Internet marketing.

At least they do not make you sign a long term contract like the yellow pages will.

We do not want to bash anyone's company or idea, but before we would recommend this we would need some hard evidence that shows cost effective results. At Integrity, we measure success based on conversions, not clicks and views-or your "downline". Until someone can show us a profitable marketing program through LocalAdLink (other than the multi-level marketing results) we cannot recommend this as a viable marketing program.

LocalAdLink Does NOT Rank Highly on Google:
If you go to Semrush.com and plugin localadlink.com you will see that they have no high organic rankings for any significantly searched keyword phrases. Not that they are only trying to grow their company via SEO, but the likelihood of someone using them over Google, Google Maps, Google Local or a local online Yellow Pages seems very slim.

Bottom line:
If you love network marketing and want to jump on this multi-level marketing bandwagon-go ahead.
If you are looking for the most effective Internet marketing program; LocalAdLink is not the answer.
